Our Ecommerce Software UK Demonstration System
To help get the best out of our Ecommerce Software Demonstration system, this page, briefly, describes how the shop is set up and how you may interact with it.
The system can, obviously, be configured for our International Clients, however, for the purposes of this demonstration, currency and Tax Rates are UK based. Please feel free to place orders and make payments using one of the various methods. No transactions will be processed. If paying by Credit Card, for security reasons, please do not use your actual Credit card details.
Any information given, such as Email addresses, is treated in accordance with our strict data protection procedures i.e. used purely for internal purposes. Functionality in the Demonstration System is the same for both price options.

Categories
Two category levels have been created. The first shows top level categories, and are shown on the left of the screen. Once a category has been clicked, it takes the visitor to the sub-categories. Four sub-categories are shown for each category and displayed in a box with a shadow. The look and feel of these boxes can be edited to your own requirements.
Featured Products
Underneath the sub categories, you will see a list of featured products. These are defined by store owners and shown relative to the category they are in. You can include as many featured products as you like.
Product Page
Once a sub-category is clicked, the system will show a list of products within that category. The system has been configured to show three products per page with brief descriptions. If there are many products, store owners may wish to configure the system to show product details on a single line, allowing more products to be shown on each page.
Store owners can define how many items appear in the New Arrivals, Bestsellers, Newsletters and Recently Viewed boxes
Additional Product Fields
In some products, additional product fields have been created. as in, the Canon Digital XIUS 500 product. Zoom lense and shutter speed fields have been created and are populated during product creation. Shop owners can define an unlimited amount of extra product fields. This is a very useful feature for ensuring certain product ranges have consistent information shown against them. Alternatively, all details can be shown in extended descriptions.
Product Options
In the above product, three additional product options have been created giving visitors the ability to specify their exact requirements. These are shown in drop-down boxes and radio buttons. Depending on which options are chosen, the system can automatically increase or decrease the final price. Store owners can enter an unlimited amount of product options.
Related products have been configured to show brief descriptions. Store owners may also configure this area to show less information, allowing more related products to be shown
Discount Coupons
If you decide to proceed to Checkout (remember, no transactions are, actually, processed), you will see a box to enter a Discount Coupon. A coupon has been created for the purposes of the demonstration and gives free delivery on the Nikon Coolpix 8400 for up to 1000 purchases on a first-come-first-served basis. You may enter the following Coupon Code, V2DB8E4G, if you wish to test this feature.
Bonus Points
A bonus point incentive scheme has also been created and you will earn 25 bonus points when purchasing the Nikon Coolpix Camera. You can view number of bonus points earned in your customer area. Points are updated once orders are processed.
Special Promotion
An additional Promotion has been created and visitors will receive a further 10% discount on orders over £500. This will become apparent during the checkout procedure.
Processing Orders
To give an idea of confirmation processes, various confirmation Emails are generated, automatically, when orders are placed. Once these have been processed, another confirmation Invoice is sent out. For demonstration purposes, we try and process these "dummy" orders during the day to give visitors an idea of what their own visitors will actually receive.
