For Service Orientated Businesses (Option 1)

The simplest and cheapest method for offering Ecommerce facilities on Websites, is to integrate it with Paypal's Payment Processing and Shopping Cart solution.

Once an account is created with Paypal, Website owners have access to a Control Panel, allowing them, amongst other things, to create Ecommerce buttons, that can be included on their own Websites. We use this approach, ourselves, as the buttons, below, demonstrate.

Typically, we would create an additional page for clients, describing products that can be purchased on-line. Next to each product, we include a "Buy Now" button that, when clicked, automatically, integrates with Paypal's Payment Processing system.

The Paypal system, is then responsible for processing transactions and taking Credit Card details. Once the transaction is complete, Paypal send an automatic Email acknowledgement of the transaction and products can then be dispatched.

If clients have our Content Management system, they have the facilities to create their own pages and interface. The cost for us to create an additional product page, include "Buy Now" buttons, and help create a Paypal Account, is a one off cost of £345 (plus VAT, where applicable).

Businesses Looking For Simple, Low Cost Online Shopping Solutions (Option Two)

If, you are more product based and looking for functionality to place products into categories and sub-categories, then our low cost Ecommerce solution is ideal. This solution, allows website owners to update their own database with product, customer and transaction details.

When creating new products, Website owners have options to;

Assign products to single or multiple categories.
Create special prices including special offers.
Create Dealer pricing.
Enter stock quantities and minimum sales amounts.
Highlight by flagging as a new product.
Show as a featured product.

Multi-level Catgories

In the Website front-end, visitors will be able to view products by category, then drill down to detail level. The system, will encourage them to view featured products, and pricing, will depend on their customer settings. The page always displays their shopping cart balance and can be accessed at any time. Customers can, also, log into their account and view previous orders.

Write And Read Visitor Reviews

When viewing a product, visitors have the option, to read visitor reviews and can also rate the product and post their own review. As a reminder and an opportunity to sell additional products, the system can display recommended products, related to the one about to be purchased.

When a visitor clicks the "Add to Cart", it takes them through to their Shopping Cart, where they can view all products to be purchased. They can either, clear the Cart or change the amounts, resume shopping, or proceed to Checkout. When they proceed to Checkout, the system will ask them to register, if they haven't done already.

Existing Customer Sign-in

Existing customers, enter their User name and password. New customers, create a new account before placing their order.

When placing their orders, visitors can either, pay by Credit Card, request a quotation or raise a Purchase Order directly from the system. If paying by Credit Card, payment will be processed by their Payment Processor i.e. Paypal, Worldpay, 2Checkout, defined in system setup. System generated Emails are sent to the Website owner, notifying them of new orders to be dispatched.

This option includes creating a product page, help setting up a Payment processor and telephone training for using the system. Their is a one off cost for this solution of £345(plus VAT, where applicable).

Adding/Editing Products

This is the first page when entering the system. Users can define Stock codes, categories belong to, title, brief description, detailed description using HTML Editor, thumbnail and detailed product images, pricing depending on user defined price categories, quantity in stock and minimum order quantity, if to be marked as new or featured product, recommended product categories.

Product List

Full list of products can be searched by stock code, name, category, featured product and if it is visible to public. Multiple products can be deleted at once or a single click to edit the product. List gives brief details on stock quantity. Products can also be re-sequenced within each category from this page.

Customer Details

Customer details are created and maintained by both Website owners and visitors placing orders or requesting quotes. Admin are also able to attach customer details to special customer groups i.e. General Public or Dealers. Admin can also specify which pricing group customers belong to.

Orders, Quotes & Purchase Orders

Admin can search Orders, Quotations and customer purchase orders by today, specific date, reference number, status and customer. Apart from being able to see a copy of the order, admin can also flag orders as new, replied, delivered or closed. Additional admin notes can also be attached to the document.

Product Options

The system allows an unlimited amount of additional product options to be created against each product. For example, if you were selling computers and the price was dependent on specification, then options could be created for CPU, Hard Disk and RAM. Admin is then able to define what additional costs are associated with each option, allowing the system to automatically recalculate selling prices when orders are placed.

Payment Gateways

The system is able to integrate with four different Payment Processors, PayPal, Worldpay, 2CheckOut and Authorise.net.

Main Ecommerce Preferences

This page allows administrators to define system wide settings. Options include: appearance and number of products displayed in product lists and search results; enabling on-line payments, quotes and customer generated Purchase Orders; allowing visitors to vote for products and post reviews; and defining default Email settings.
