Our News Management Information system is a lightweight, yet powerful way to manage news to your Website.

 

It is intended for non-technical users and allows them to update and manage articles, press releases, news stories, headlines, and editorials to their own Website. Once written, articles are, immediately, uploaded to your Website and viewable to the general public.

Giving You More Control Over Website Content

Keeping your Website fresh with new or updated information, is an important factor for encouraging repeat visits to your Website. Using the inbuilt, sophisticated WYSIWYG editor, is as simple as writing an Email, and even allows, pictures to be uploaded into articles. Use News & Announce for telling visitors about new orders won, new staff members, new services and general advice on some well known industry topics.

 

Database Management Systems News Look & Feel

Our News Management Information system, is built around the industry standard MySQL Database. All articles are stored in the Database and are, therefore, easy to edit or delete. Once you know what content to include, an article can be produced in a matter of minutes and, automatically, uploaded to your Website for visitors to view.

 

The system presents to the visitor, a page summary of all articles posted, in date order. You decide how many articles should appear on the page at any one time. To view News items in more detail, the visitor clicks on an article summary to bring up the article in full. It even has the facility to allow visitors to "tell a friend", by automating the process of sending the article via Email.

 

Integration with your Website

For existing clients, a new page is created on your Website (based on your own design) to host the News and links to the page, inserted in all pages. For new clients, please refer to our Installation Support overview article in our FAQ section. Once deciding to purchase News Management, it can be up and running on your Website within a matter of days. There is a one-off cost associated with this system of £345 (plus VAT, where applicable).
