Visitors, will be able to search by category, short descriptions, or keywords. Having a simple Yahoo style directory with details like title, URL, date added, hits, ratings, votes, and reviews, are just a click away. Visitors can suggest a link to their friends or add an image for a premium link. Some users can even rate the link and write about it. Add/Edit Link

First page displayed when entering system. Allows System Administrator to create new links manually. Useful for setting up system and inputting existing suppliers and customers. Screen also used for editing existing links and changing status. Page also allows link to be upgraded from Normal to Premium link.

 

 

List Of All Links

Allows Administrator to search for existing links. Can search by Premium, New, Broken, Editors Pick, Banned, Category or Title link. List also shows number of clicks going out and coming in and can be sorted by Title, link and status. Single click to edit or delete link.

 

 

 

 

Create And Edit Categories

Allows you to create your own categories and unlimited amount of sub categories. Option to include a brief summary and attach different folder icon, if required. Single click to edit or delete existing categories.

 

 

 

 

Statistics

Gives a snapshot of all key statistics including links pending approval, total number of categories, links and reviews split by new, Editor pick, top and most popular. Links also broken down by new, broken, premium, normal, active, hidden and banned. Numbers include total clicks in and out, hits, votes and average rating. Latter also split by Top performers.

 

 

Link Checking

System can automatically check Database for broken links i.e. outgoing link returns "page not found" message.
Can also automatically check for broken link backs i.e. reciprocal link from external Website no longer exists. In which case, contact can be made with the Website owner to resolve issue.

 

 

System Preferences

Allows Administrator to select overall system settings. Number of links in front end can be defined to ensure vertical scroll bar is a reasonable length. Flag can also be set to allow visitors one vote per link. Stops Website owners voting for their Website and inflating ratings. Up to four reciprocal link Banners can be created for visitors to include on their own sites. Default Email content can also be defined for confirmation.
